Kinder Art (ages 5 - 7) 

A wonderful introduction for young students, exploring the ideas of shape, colour and composition. 45 minute classes.

Primary Visual Art (ages 6 - 9)

Students will explore  a variety of materials, working with , ink, graphite, watercolour pencil, photography  and collage, Each student will be given an 8.5”x11”  sketch book to be used during class and also to take home to further investigate and practice the art of drawing.The class will cover the  process of stop-motion animation from concept development to sculpting to sound editing.Sound installations, outdoor excursions and paper maché will be a few areas we will be exploring in this semester.

Students work at their own pace and the curriculum is shaped according to the interest of the class.

Visual Arts - Advanced (ages 15 - 18)

This class helps the  artist refine traditional Visual Art skills and explore new technology.  Students work at their own pace with integrated media. Storyboards are more complex and techniques are refined as students use sketches that are developed into sculptures then photographed to create an animated video, complete with sound effects.  One hour classes.

Tuesdays 7.15-8.15

Third Term: April 10  to June 12 - $290


Private Piano Lessons

Young children are taught in an imaginative way through "Cougar's Great Adventure" (please see home page and Arden Books) learning notes on the staff and rhythmic values. Games and rhythm instruments are used to develop the fundamental tools of reading skills. Young students receive a personalized book with their own photographs once they have basic note reading skills. For more advanced students, Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum is blended with popular music to create a unique course of study for each student.
